Love the thread. I drove over Stevens on Friday and the hilltops were glorious. I was sad there was none at the base but the surrounding peaks were looking real nice. I was pretty excited to say the least.

I have honestly been checking for the last 3 days waiting for this thread. We should all buy you a beer for this

I think I mentioned it once.... if that counts as bugging, sue me.

but well done, even if most of the pictures are bunk links.

Are the webcams not updating for everyone else? They're not for me, unless I click on them.

In any event.... steven's has much snow right now. Might have to go play tonight.

Huh, well i guess it doesnt want to work. Looks like they got an inch last night, but it'll melt fast as the day brightens up.

yeah the cams don't work for me either.

but if you click on any of them (including k5's forcast) they come up in another window with the correct up to date image... stupid.

Looks like the trees have already started to melt a little, but it says its still 34F up there, I don't think it'll get much warmer, so I still may go up tonight.

Yeah I know what you mean, I love snow too. I just wouldnt drive and hour and a half to get there, then again, i cant even drive

and i'll be working until saturday night, god damnit. i hate my boss. im going to be praying for freak low snow levels all day tomorrow.

FUCKFUCKFUCK

My bindings aren't adjusted to my skis yet. I sense a rocket run to Fairhaven bike and sport for some flash adjustments tomorrow!!

Oh yeah, and rumor has it, Baker has 40" of new, not just 20".

its just a rumor, talked to my boss today, he said they only got like 5 or 6 inches yesterday afternoon. totaled at 24-26 (giving myself some leeway). he said the best idea would be to probably drive to grandmas, and skin or hike up from there. he skinned up there yesterday evening he said it was fun, but still kinda rocky, so watch out just incase.

This man speaks truth. I would say that there is anywhere between two and three feet around, but it depends and there are still lots of rocks. Regardless, you will have fun. And look for the jump between the trees on the right side of the road after you start hiking, it is a lot of fun for a flat landing.

I skied some heavy pow on Saturday the 6th.  Not bad for October.  There was atleast 3 feet of new on Heliotrope Ridge.  The snow is coming.....
