Snow Watch 06/07

yep, been my dream car since I was a little kid!

Looks like snow levels are down a bit next week, but looks like rain this weekend :(

Could be good later next week for the comp at crystal, First time going to a freeride comp. Hope to take some pics and possibly ski some goods....

yeah, who was in the ER for what????

and billy, that seems to be the general concensus. I'm happy to say that I think the yaris is one of the cutest cars ever made, AND I'm happy to say I want a cute car.

i had the pleasure of chilling in the ER for about 4 hours last night waiting to get stitches in my arm. i was spinning off the little knoll next to waterfall and underrotated a 7 off it. skis popped off and somehow my jacket sleeve got pulled up, and a ski sliced my arm when i was falling. would not have been that bad at all, except my docs office was gonna be closed when we got back....so ER was the only choice. ill be up on sunday though

I agree, that knoll is really fun, but damn Hoos that's intense. Hopefully you don't bump/fall on it skiing tomorrow!

thankfully i didnt hit it today, although it started hurting after one hit, but a super fun day. glad the rain stayed away

nah, strangely your lips heal up pretty well, I've had stiches in my lip on two separate occasions, that one being the first and you can't even tell

sometimes? like only when the climate conditions are condusive to such swelling as to make it apparent?

67 degrees, 88% humidity and billy has a cleft lip.

Yesterday was the last day for Hyak... scary realization that season nearing its end. Going up tonight, and all day wednesday.

I will probably send out a pow alert for Tuesday-Wednesday. I like the snow levels ( 2000ft ) and there's not a lot of snow, but it will freshen up the slopes. I expect 3-7". Pow Alert will likely go out Monday evening, so watch for update.

Thursday -Friday, generally dry. Spring Skiing!

no, it is if it is really cold and dry for a while it starts to crack and in this one place it getis really bad. and will start to cut deeper.

hahahaha, actualy the doctor thought it might have been a form of herpies, for a little bit, but the stuff he gave me did not do shit, so I stoped useing it, and it went away for the first time in a few years, like 5 months after I quit the anti herpies shit. has not really came back to what it was though. def. not herpies though. speacking of herpies though it's going throuh my school right now, whcih means it's here to stay. and it's in the girls in my grade so... and I think one of my friends might have it... but it's not as bad as the grade below me. like over 20% of the sophmore girls have herpies. not good and like 60% of all the cases are sophmores. and that means it will spread to the freshmen next year which means don't tuch skithebigA

Yo enough about your god dam lips.... Time to ski some pow!

New Snow Ahead. Let’s go! Colder air is moving in and with moist westerly flow. It looks like powder is in your future. Expect 3-8” to fall overnight, with snow level dropping to 1500ft by Tuesday morning. We might even see a rain snow mix in the lowlands of Western Washington. This is a terrific cold pattern for this time of year and quality should be excellent. Always favor shady, cool north slopes this time of year. There is potential for a moderate to big dump.

Tuesday, during the day, will see an additional 3-7” of snow. Check list; powder cords, goggles, Gore Tex. All areas will have moderate new snow, but Mt Baker, Stevens and the Summit will have enhanced snowfall with a Puget Sound Convergence Zone really focusing the snow in the Central Cascades. . Wednesday will see a few inches of new and continued low snow levels near 2000ft. I like both days.

Was PISSING rain at snoqualmie last night, but was SO much fun. The pipe is oh so tastey.

tomorrow is looking good.

Fuck yes!

I am about to head out in a few to get my last powder fix for the season it looks like unless we get one more cold ass storm in the next few weeks. I can't wait to rip some cold, dry powder.

You missed out bigtime. Was amazing up there, was a nasty crust under about inches of pow that id hit sometimes. But for the most part is was amazing and great quality.

We hiked up above 7th and trekked over towards Tye Mill and dropped down in over there, some deep deep stuff there. It was pretty much amazing.

Meant to say there was a nasty crust under about the 10 inches on top. Double Diamond was pure ice tho, but Big Chief bowl was great, as was Tye Bowl. They groomed Lower Terminal and Winnie Chutes which was pretty nice, plus the park was pretty damn nice today but spent most of it outside on such a great day.

snoqualmie was great as well, ran into mr domer, and mr teefa!

but I am sooo sunburnt, and pretty sure my thumb is broken.

yes, they actually cut it. combine that with the absense of gapers (well, at least until around 1 or so), it was good clean fun
