"Forecasts call for 8-14" of new snow between Thursday midday and Thursday night. The snow will then taper off to a lull Thursday night through Friday morning, but then another wave of snow comes in midday Friday through Friday night for another 6-10"."

it was last night. I was talking to my second family up there and they said that it was raining in the day and dropped to below freezing at night. the accumulation was really not much to speak of as far as opening date prediction. but if that snow forcast is correct (which I doubt but hope it is) then they're gonna get like 12"+ today

Don't mean to plug here, but I will anyhow. Check www.powdermag.com/powderwatch in the next coming week or two. We're putting a powder forecasting site. And it's all on the shoulders of one trusty (unfortunately lucky) intern. It's accurate and pretty rad.
