I'd have to blame terrorists.
blame bush clear cutting the forests, thus producing more carbon dioxide that is realeased into the atmosphere, wich causes global warming, wich in turn melt the perma-frost, wich in turn causes the decomposition of all of the organic matter that is frozen under the perma-frost, which in turn will double the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, which in turn lets the methane escape from underneath the organic matter that is frozen, which methane is also a greenhouse gas which will in turn melt the polar ice caps, wich in turn no longer reflects as much heat. (polar ice caps are white and reflect heat, water is dark and aborbes heat)

that movie also had ice tornados, a helicopter flying through like 15 tornados, crazy wolves that are immune to ice tornado temperatures.......

even if global warming did cause the north atalntic current to shift, by that time there wouldn't be enough polar ice caps left to 'cause an ice age'
the earth does it's best to keep the temperature on the surface a constant. so as the sun gets hotter (as it is) more trees/animals/organic matter would be formed to take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere to keep the earth's temperature down.
but since we are fuckin everything up by killing all the animals/plants/organic matter, we are producing/releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere faster than the earth's carbon cycle can produce more animals/plants. trees don't just take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and produce oxygene, it also acts as a way of storing carbon. thats why we're so fucked. earth is fucked, there probably isn't any way that we can reverse what we've done.
the earth will simply get too hot from excess greenhouse gasses. oh sure we might be able to find a way to stor carbon in the next few hundred years, but then we also have to deal with the depletion of the ozone
shit like CFC's will stay in the upper atmosphere for a long time, like 80 years. so even though we don't use CFC's any more, they'll be up there for a long time, plus we still use stuff that depeletes the ozone, just not as much as CFC's
once the holes in the ozone spread up to inhabitated areas, everything (plants animals humans everything) will die because of radiation. the only thing that will survive is stuff that lives deep in the ocean
so once the ozone starts killing us and the earth gets to hot, we'll all die! thankfully too! cause once we die, the earth can go back to its natural processes. nobody will be fucking with the carbon cycle. and life will re-emerge from the depths of the ocean once the ozone has re-formed and the carbon cycle reformes itself.

Whats funny is cows release more greenhouse gasses then any car in the world... and volcano's release as much greenhouse gas as all the cars in the US in one event. So I guess we can blame hambergers and Mt. St. Helens
except that is all natural, plus if it wasn't for us, there wouldn't be more cows than people!! i know there aren't really, but there are soooo many cows

I would be willing to bet there are more cows than people. Think about how much beef product we consume? And how much of an entire cow actually becomes beef product?
Also, the single WORST greenhouse gas is water vapor, good old steam. Thats why hydrogen powered cars, although they sound like a cool idea, they produce a lot of water. Plus, hydrogen fuel has to come from electrolysis of water, which is done using electricity, which most likely comes from a coal or gas power plant.
Its like if you get a girl pregnant, theres no use in using a condom anymore cause she can't get MORE pregnant. Well, the earth has been fucked, so why recycle? Cause in the long run, it can't get any MORE fucked, right?

I wouldn't call it 'damage', and they really don't put out all THAT much steam. I mean, well they do, but rivers and waterfalls put out a ton of water vapor too.
I'm sure I'm completely incorrect about hydrogen powered cars being bad because of water vapor produced, but I still think its interesting that water is the worst greenhouse gas (but it makes perfect sense).
I also find it too bad that so many people are against nuclear power, cause its SUCH a nice source of power! As long as the waste is contained properly, it provides a lot of power for a long time. All it is, is a steam plant, with really really hot water.
Nuclear rockets would be awesome too, but they won't do it cause if something goes wrong... then you got a lot of nuclear material in the atmosphere, which is not such a good thing.
The next big wave is nuclear fusion power. Interestingly enough, the aeronautics department at school has one of the leading fusion research programs. Kinda wierd to think that a department like us would be looking in to that, but somehow we ended up with it! I've seen the Helicity Injection Torus (HIT) before too, its CRAZY!!!

tiny water droplets are not vapor. steam isn't vapor either, its just tiny droplets. water vapor is a gas, and is completely transparent, you can't see it.
So yeah, waterfalls do kick up water into the atmosphere. So does the ocean, rivers, blah blah... so its not like its a bad thing.
