Snow*Trails will be hosting a big air on Saturday January 23, 2010 @6 pm, practice will start somewhere around 3:00 -ending @5:00pm. check outhttp://www.snowtrails.com/calendar/2010/01/23/amp-big-air-competition for more details. everyone please come out for this, more people better the vibe!

Competition

6:00PM- 8:00PM

FREE to public/spectators!

The annual Snow Trails Big Air Competition will take place under the

lights at 6:00PM on the Competition Slope. Open to all skiers and

snowboarders.

Prizes:

Bose SoundDock® digital music system ($300 value)

Winter Apparel: Beanies - Hoodies - Fleeces

First, second, and third place prizes will be awarded in both skiing and snowboarding divisions

(no specific age categories).

Participants:

Registration: 9:30AM to 5:00PM at the Informaion desk in the main lodge.

Entry Fee: $10

Practice: 3:00PM- 5:00PM

Helmet & Signed Waiver (by parent or legal guardian if under 18) Mandatory.

Participants must have a valid lift ticket.

Entertainment in The Snowflake Loft following Competition

21 years old & up

 
freddy b from b mills did a cab 10 and washed out the landing. mitch did a cab dub cork and washed out the landing as well. it was a super fun comp - probably the most fun comp to date at snow trails.
 
sweet man - thanks for the heads up.

I wish i could come. I dont really travel or leave my home resort - big home body. Plus I find that when i go to other resorts their park isnt as cool as ours. Lips are usually too crazy and the jumps are just not what you have at home.

theres no place like home. Thanks for the info though. One day if i decide to get out and about I'll be sure to bring my doubles.
 
its comments like this that make it next to impossible for me to get a ride to pns. nobody that can drive me there is gonna want to go if pns keeps putting up this cocky bullshit attitude. i think everybody realizes that pns is rediculous in terms of skiing ability but theres no need to post about it in a completely irrelevant thread

Props to Snow Trails, I had a real good time. I look forward to seeing you guys next weekend at the CP/MRM Big Air.
Might have to toss in a Presidential Party while were at it!
 
I'll be fresh off the road, may still have snow in my beard from the innumerable faceshots I've been getting out here. Should be mad fun. I'll make sure I look for some doubles on the way back across the country. I think I lost them in the 7 feet of pow I'm skiing right now. HA
 
When you say doubles, do you mean double cheeseburgers?

If thats the case then im definitely coming!!!

is anyone heading to the double cheeseburger competition at pns? I would love a ride. Im always up for learning new ways to make a double cheeseburger.

I've heard a lot of things about pns, but if you can make a mean double cb you're ok in my book.

O Terman landed his first run? I didn't know that. Couldn't see shit from the top. Was a fun comp though and I did my first Misty 5 and 7. Guess im sayin I had a killer yime and it was a good jump!

The beard is back! Wolf Creek was going off. Almost too much snow. 4 days shredding with Brogan, Delorme, and Mango was a great time. My legs are still sore.
 
Probably not. I was thinking about going out there on monday but the snowpack seemed too sketchy. I have to head back to Ohio on friday. Hittin' up that MRM big air. It won't be as fun as riding out here, but it will probably be a pretty rowdy time.
 
Man i miss going to Snowtrails Big Airs. Looked like a good time. I think i Spied The Chop! Its funny that scharff gets on here and makes a comment like that and then never gets back on. I think he was probably mainly referring to Laker doing switch double cork 12s, but i think he's going to be out of town for our comp anyway. I hope some of you can still make it.
P.S. - If the grill is open on the deck you can talk them into making a double cheese burger, and they are pretty off the hook in my mind.

ha this thread has gotten out of control and to shaggy i ski just when youre not there cuz i show up on other days than bluebird days like i was there today prolly gonna be there tom was there 3 times last week so im there more than you think just hppen to work during the night
