Snow Summit/Big Bear

I just moved to California and the closest ski resort is Snow Summit/Big Bear. I know they have a tight park but what is the rest of the mountain like. Does it offer any difficult terrain? Or does it suck as far as terrain is concerned and would it be better to head for Tahoe or Mammoth cause both are about the same distance away?

 
big bear is for park only nothing more. head to mammoth if you want more then that

^true i have been to both twice now. Big Bear is a one mountian park(which rocks) and snow summit has a good park as well, but the riding is not the most techincal.

mammoth has it all.

But big bear is fun cus there is tuns of terrain its always sunny and in my opinion bear has the best assortment of rails in the country.

Side note:

Dont ever go to bear on the weekend no joke you will not get on more than 3-4 chairs all day.

 
hit up mt baldy after a big snowfall but when that isnt happening, hone your park skills
