Snow Sticking to Bases...

On my Atomic Tweaks, my backyard jib skis, the snow is actually sticking to the bases of the ski, and I can't slide (on snow) at all. They were inside all night and warm. Does anyone know what the problem is, could it be from going immediately from warm to cold and the bases are having the snow stick to them? Anyway to fix this?

ya wax your skis, if it's super cold outside and the snow is cold, you need to use a cold weather wax, and if there sticking when it is mild and the snow is wet, use a warm weather wax.

another thing is after you've waxed your skis leave them outside so they're more adapted for colder weather

^DO NOT leave your skis outside. your bases may be more 'adapted to cold weather', but your edges will be pure rust and any water that for some reason got into the core or in between the edge and the base will freeze and expand

A warm ski melts snow, eventualy becomes cold, and then esentialy your base is a frost magnet. You should leave your skis outside or someplace cold for about 15 minutes or so usualy to adjust to the temp before you snap in and go up the lift. And just wax your shit.

make sure you buff or cork your wax too after scraping.

just get all temp. wax and wax it with that and dont leave ur skis outside...if u really want them closer to the cold put them by your bilco doors(if u have any) its always cold there from the cold air comming in and if u dont have them put them in the coldest room in ur house or by another cold door where the air may get through somehow

haha, you guys, these are backyard beater skis. yeah, its just when your bases ae too warm. id say let them adjust a little more. waxing will fix this prbloem, but ont waste money on it.

i looked on google but all i could find was 3D Animation porn-sxmarty6

Yeah I was thinking like Kev. Has it suddenly dropped in temp where you are? That happened to me last year (suddenly dropped by like 15C)had me worried for a bit but then it warmed up next day so I just kept the same wax.
