which has the best deals on skis and bindings.. or package deals? sick outerwear as well.

looking for un-biased opinions!!!!

theyre both homo... if you buy skis online which is usually alot cheaper you have to pay about 80 bucks to get them mounted

My unbiased opinion (honestly)

As far as lower prices and all that bullshit...I can gurantee on all of this years stuff (09/10) there is no online retailer right now that has a lower price than snow or ski company...I know for a FACT that the owner checks all prices online and matches them. Although the sometimes specials promotions (like jibij last year did 10% to NS members). I'm not trying to put down online buying (i bought my moments online..only cause no shops here carried them) but that's just my opinion. On last years shit, that's a complete different story. When a company like ski company buys skis from a company, there's an absolute lowest price that we can sell them for..until a certain date. After that date passes, you can sell the skis for whatever price you want. Hugeee online companies (ie. backcountry, sierraskis, etc) can afford to sell the skis for cheaper because they bought more of the skis in the beginning of the year, and were offered a better deal on them. Hence, there still making enough money to get by. Also there is a tonnn of liquidation (idk if that's what you would call it) companies that buy tons of skis from say LINE and then sell the skis to a shop like snow for cheaper in the middle of the winter. Online companies do this a tonn. Also, (trying to avoid a sales pitch just cause I work at snow) no other online store can you get 50% credit on your old skis/bindings setup towards a new setup. Since working at snow I've come to appreciate purchasing gear from shops more and even though it's hard...I know when I'm a parent or w/e and I have a family I'm probably not going to go online to buy my crap..I'll go to my local shop. Will all that said...come to snow, we're cooler.

are you the kid at bristol that wouldnt give me a cookie one night when everyone was out of the lodge

We have the same exact marked ski prices. But yeah, ski company carries certain brands that we don't have a visa versa. Snow is obviously going to have some more expensive companies/more luxury stuff to get dat extra Pittsford buck.

at ski co we have armada, line, volkl, dynastar, atomic, head, fischer, and elan... most importantly though we have 1 pair of bent chetlers hahaha... but anyways we are getting our salomon shippment in soon and the cronic in soon... if theres a certain ski ur lookin for tell me, same with bindins... we are also gettin fulltilts this year... spread the word everyone, if u want them in upcoming years then they gotta sell this year... um as far as outerwear ski co sucks for it, snow sucks even more... id buy online

which you stole from spooztastic voyage? i think yess. o well theres more than one pair of ski made.. im pissed though i cant get my Abangss :(

That kid is always at his papas side though he's never let off of his harness. He's kept in a metal cage at home and is sometimes allowed to run around the yard as long as he has his collar on. Plus he sold his Bacons for drug money.

Oh and keep in mind people... That if you buy skis online, it's not worth it if you're not saving more than $60-70 over buying the skis at a local store. You could end up paying more if you bought them online just because you have to get the bindings mounted.

Like getting Anthems at Snow for $300 + Free Binding Mount = $300

Getting Anthems online for $275 + $60 Binding Mount = $335

Just do your math first.

this is false... you must also buy your bindings from that same company or it still costs 60 bucks.... if you bring in your own bindings you still need to pay cuz of liability issues

It's not cause of liability issues if the bindings are in fine working condition really..its just that they really want the consumer to buy 100% of their setup from them.

Thats only if you buy the skis from them and if you touch a rail on them they won't give you anything for trade in. Fuck ski company and snow. Mounting prices are bullshit too.

There's been kids this year who have traded in park skis that they're hit rails with and we still took em...as long as theres no edge cracks I think we'll still take em.
