How is it looking right now? I might make a trip up tomorrow and do some hiking. Can anyone let me know?

ps. I checked RMR's web cams and they were no help.

things should be better now, at least at the top of the gondoal and higher. webcams are updated and they say there working on the info for the snow repot.

I hear the snow in rogers pass is marginal, I hope things get better or opening day may be bust. Any one actually been up, on the ground?

it'll be fine, going tomorrow. golden had tons of snow this weekend, revy will be just fine, snowpack takes time.. give it a few...

so a group of us down here in rossland are thinking of coming up for opening - just wondering from those that are there - how is it looking? will it be worth the drive (and cost), or what? we don't have much snow down here, so just wondering what the coverage/quality will be like.
and are they opening the new lift this weekend as well?

doubt it'll be worth it. wait till we have more snow.. and trust me we'll get more snow. but if you come this week you wont be dissapointed.

Is the bottom even gonna be skiable? From the webcams it looks like there's no snow really in town and that its thin lower down. If they have one groomed run to the bottom I'd be surprised. I bet they are gonna download.

i emailed and asked and they said they were downloading. i went up there today to get my pass and they have about 6 inches around the bottom of last years gondola.

so any good?

I'm planning on heading up on thursday. I personally think that they should wait till december

Opening was alright, found some decent lines in north bowl... kinda suprised they opened the runs they did considering the stumps, rocks, and general lack of grooming on most of them.

can't wait to get MORE snow!

crappy snow, bad vis up top, but sick to be riding a lift.

Loved the jump at the bottom of North Bowl. I hope that was someone on here.

Will be back when theres pow

haha yeah me and my friends were there from like 10 to 12 today hitting it and hiking back up. sweet jump and super good landing. landed a 540 which is big for me lol.

haha sick dude. saw some little grom bust a seven on it too. I was being a bit sarcastic about the jump, but the important part is that it looks like you were having fun

maybe were talking about a different jump cause the one we were on was really good. whoever built it did a godd job and it def took a long time.

Anyone goign to be up there sunday? I will be if there is some new snow, i have been itching to use my new steezes....

yeah.. i'll be there, regardless of new snow.. though i really hope we get some. they are forcasting 20-25 cms by sunday.
