My mtn is closed due to rain. I was planning on going to whistler this weekend (last time ive been there in the winter was 6 years ago) but I just found out its closed due to heavy rain/flodding.

yep its +9 and raining in fernie, we went from a 200cm base to maybe 50cm since monday.

Rain Rain Go Away... I hate the fucking rain. If it's going to rain where I live the least that could happen is snow in the mountains but NOOOOOOOOOO. It has to fucking rain. In the last week we have lost half of our fucking snow pack.

I'm heading to whistler next week from Sydney Australia. I've spent my life savings on this two week trip! Is there any sign of snow on the horizon? shit i hope so!

 
^ ur kinda screwed, look at the forecast on the website, i doubt you'll get alot of snow like there usually is in january but you'll find many other aussies to hang out with ;)

yeah im goin to whistler in feb 18 there better be snow there. its cause the jet stream moved around its goin north of whistler drops down below michigan then sinks really far south to north carolina thats why the east is gettin so cold and lots od snow it prob will change by feb.
