Just read this on the N.W.S. site. I keep hearing about an early, strong winter. Maybe this is the begining.

SNOW LEVELS ON FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT MAY DROP BELOW 7000 FEET

NORTH OF INTERSTATE 80. ..WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF LIGHT SNOW

ACCUMULATIONS ON NORTHERN SIERRA MOUNTAIN PEAKS.

EVERYONE IS ENCOURAGED TO CONTINUE TO MONITOR FORECASTS THIS WEEK

FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RENO NEVADA FOR UPDATES ON

THIS DEVELOPING SITUATION.

it's been soo butt cold in the bay lately, I've been wearing my sensitive sweater all day at work just to stay warm...everyone says I look like a grade schooler but I tell them to STFU cuz they don't let me wear my cowboy vest cuz of "Park Uniform Regulations" so yeah, it might snow...or it might not.

i'm not gonna start getting stoked until the snow level drops below 6k cuz then URBAN RAILS!!!!!one1 lolomgzorz!

Snow is overated.. nah im stoked i love the silence. I never see snow for just beeing snow anymore, i think it would be nice.

YEa. leave it to jonahs to let the kiddies know. haha. Y a that would be cool. tons of powder and huge ass alpine kickers. Jonahs, do you think alpine would notice if you built a 100 footer?

Check again. Looks like they're calling for above 5000 feet!!

A SECONDARY PUSH OF COLDER AIR WILL DROP SNOW LEVELS FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT TO 5000 TO 5500 FEET OVER NORTHERN LASSEN...WASHOE... AND PERSHING COUNTIES...WITH THE POSSIBILITY OF LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FOR THE WARNER MOUNTAINS AND PEAKS ABOVE 6000 FEET OVER FAR NORTHERN NEVADA AND NORTHEAST CALIFORNIA.

Let the fun begin.

Gardnerville rail if there enough to truck down.. Il pay for gas dude and we will do it during the day... the right way to start the season a 10 kink 100 foot urban im fucking serious Kc... well do it monday or something if there is anything left, if rose gets plowed it will last a few days..

Another chance for snow coming.

N.W.S. says "TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT IT WILL BE MUCH COLDER WITH A GOOD BLANKET OF SNOW POSSIBLE FOR THE HIGH SIERRA ABOVE 7000 FEET. THERE COULD BE AS MUCH AS 6 INCHES OF SNOW ALONG THE CREST."

Time to pull out the boxes?

Jonahs: please leave at least one box and one rail unchained so we can set them up if it really snows. Last year that was really cool of you guys to let us set up before the mountain was open, those of us that were up there really appreciate it.

Well I think all of the small boxes are buried behind the big boxes, so don't try to move them or you will be crushed. But, if it does snow, I'm positive my crew will be on the scene.

im hearing the sname talk bout da snow down here in socal bear supose to get a couple inches dem to jus keep tinking happy thoughts bless it.

chance of snow showers tuesday and wednesday, maybe thursday and friday night cause it's gonna get below 30 degrees

HIGH TEMPERATURES ACROSS NORTHERN CALIFORNIA WILL DROP INTO THE

60S WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. MOUNTAIN TEMPERATURES WILL ONLY BE IN

THE 40S THESE DAYS. SNOW LEVELS WILL DROP TO AROUND 6000 FEET

TUESDAY NIGHT. A FEW INCHES OF SNOW COULD FALL IN THE MOUNTAINS BY

THURSDAY.

ya there is no 10 kink in gardnerville , it flat.

KC it will be time to start our rail mission form that pic list.

its a 12 kink, and its in galena, and you need your AAA game to clear it. For sure, I dont which of the rails to hit though, the wood one wood be good.

Hopefully it'll snow tonight, so I don't have to work tomorow. I live on Donner Summit, it's 5:11 PM, temp is 48 F, and it's mostly cloudy outside. Hoping for some snow soon.

If it snows enough I have a 15 foot flat rail that we might take up to the east bowl at mount rose friday or saturday depending on the weather...

Pray for Snow!!!

jonahs let us know if it snows enough to jib anything cuz i'll come up if there's enough.  thanks.

my rail is at the bottom of munchkins right now so if it snows enough at alpine I'll just drag er up there...

I'll post if I set it up, I expect the same from y'all, its urban time

No snow at Alpine. It tried for a little while, but it melted. Oh well , maybe next storm we'll be able to jib.
