its too early to tell. the natural snow, while pretty and good for handrails, does nothing to help get open. infact, its a wasted night of snow making due to humidity.
i drove the BEE around today hanging trail signs and the weight of that machine squishes the snow and soaks up the mud (obviously the ground has not froze) so... what would this mean...
sketchy, no park, no bumps and closed after 4 hours of people snowplowing it off.
you're only hope at this point is that thursday's cold snap happens earlier than predicted (it could) and last straight through the day friday (it has before) and then all the employees at sundown pull an all nighter (park staff is ready to work from 5pm friday until we finish...) and maybe you'd see an opening day.
fact is, i'd rather wait a week, open with everything but gunny including edge to edge coverage. a full, legit park and moguls.
