Has anyone ever made a snow maker? Or heard of it beeing done? I was just looking at some site online that sold 'em... it was just a 5 horse air compressor hooked up to a metal pipe sprayer thing with a place to plug a garden hose into. Looked like something I could do in my garage! But I kinda figured that, if it's so freakin easy, it musta been done before. So, anyone ever tried to make one?

it is possible, you just have to access to a good air compressor and a pressure washer rigged together. its really not worth the time or money.

i made snow with a powerwasher with a spray nozzle, worked like a charm, but the water has to get up super high so it can freeze b 4 it hits the ground

dude, me and a buddy made one, and it was pretty much usless. we had an aircompressor, and hooked it up to a water pump, but after about 2 hours of leaving it on, it amounted to about a quater of an inch. dont even bother, just go down to the local ie rink and steal there snow.

$1500 bones. do those one's work alright. and is it legal to blow snow on just a regular hill in the city.

Well I suppose you could buy one, but you could also steel one if you had the man-power, and really fast legs.

i dont know. i hear snow really ruins the environment

im gonna make one. figure it out. you need lots of little bits of water falling from high up. it wont work that good if its real windy out either.

yeah you can make them , its not that hard. but depending on what you use, will amount to how much snow you get , obviously. but whomever it was had the right idea. if you guys are going to try to make your own. its going to be crappy quality and your snow is going to be wet, because you dont have the air pressure needed to get the snow you need. so the higher you have your nozzel or whatever your using. the longer the hang time is for the snow to freeze in the air. best temp to make snow. with what you guys would be using would be around -8 or lower.. thats if you want to see at least some good results.. but if u dont really care. dont even bother unless its -3. otherwise your wasting your fat ol time.

where did you learn how to make snow???

ever wonder if iliterate people get the full effect of alphabet soup???

whoa whoa whoa, I can spray my pressure washer outside when its like 30degrees, and it'll snow? Sounds like it wont work to me

snowguns are hard to make... i have one that will make about 5 inchers perhour this season. uses 2 powerwashers and a air compresser
