My main plan for making a kicker this year is to use something for a base so i don't need as much snow. I am using a round bale. That's pretty big. Also what kind of triks do you want to pull? For straight grabs or rotations you want a big flat jump, like a cheese wedge. If you want inverts and flip you want something like the positive side of a parabole, you know gradually getting stepper.
dont even bother if the snow is all grainy and doest pack worth shit our just wasting your time. get alot of snow in a pile and start shaping it you will need to pack it down lots so it doesnt give way when you go off of it. make your lip according to what kind of tricks you wanna try no lip for spin and lots of lip for flips. good luck
try to find an old jump and build on the it work the best.
dude get a garbage can. the bigger the better. Fill it with snow and step on the open top of it to pack it all down. Then you dump it out like a freakin sandcastle and Bam!! you've got a kicker.
They work best when you lay the blocks of snow on their side.
It is unfortunate when everything seems to be going really good and the girl uses a word like 'dont', or 'stop'. If she learned to use these two words in unison, everyone would be much happier.
well we made it... it was pretty danm small but oh well..... it was good that our take off and snow run to the jump was pretty shibby but the jump sucked... oh well.... i will try harder next time.. also my friend (who is a snowboarder >.
