I was just on Bakers website and it said in the upcoming storm cycle they expect between 24 and 36 inches of snow. Hell Ya

i like these games.

i'll guess the 21st

and to the creator... i think baker meant they need 24-36 inches to open the lifts, not that they aree necessarily expecting that much from the storm. but it could bring triple that, we never know.

on mtv cribs some dude from fall out boy had a snowmaking machine in his backyard in LA

he merely has to press a button and say "snow is on its way soon"

snoqualmie won't open this side of December 1st, stevens will open between thanksgiving and December first. Baker should open this side of Thanksgiving, and Crystal around thanksgiving.

Oh, and you misread. It doesn't say they are expecting 24-36"... it says they need that much to open...

"So, we’re still looking for about 24” – 36” of snow (depending on temp it falls at) on the ground before we can begin operating the lifts. But as you all know, that can happen overnight at Baker. Our crews are on 24 hour standby and we are ready for when that snow starts to fall!"

Do you guys think that this snow will start the season or will we have to wait for more? And what mountains do you think will open the soonest?

there snow on snoqualmie today at 2ish when i drove over it, it was sticking to the runs, and in the higher elevations looks like really good coverage. no snow on the road however
