SNOW: freeride/freestyle skiing game

we are in sweden, but Steam is in Seattle so the game will probably only go live at 10am PST. If you're in Europe and waiting, I recommend you go get some sleep so you have the energy to play through the night tomorrow!

That means it's finished.

Normally when you download a file, that file is on some server and you're copying it onto your computer.

However with torrents you download peer-to-peer (P2P), which means you are simultaneously downloading the file from other peoples computers, while uploading what you have downloaded to others. When you are seeding it means you have finished downloading, and all you're doing is uploading for others. I normally stop it seeding.
 
Okay could someone maybe help me out here? I may just be retarded but i have a mac, and i have steam. Im not running windows with bootcamp, so im wondering what the issue is here. Cant i just download SNOW on steam and play on mac? Or am i missing something here. Why exactly do you need windows to run SNOW?? Someone please help cause i really want this game
 
you are retarted BECAUSE you have a mac.

I'm sorry, but you just don't deserve to play this game. The developers agree with me, otherwise they would have made is Mac compatible.
 
You can't run snow on mac because of the game engine. The game uses CryENGINE 3 which is not compatible with mac at the time being.
 
this sucks because i cant get bootcamp to work on my windows, cant connect to the internet (if you want to help me i would love you forever and ever)
 
You need to install the bootcamp install disk that you (hopefully) made before you actually installed windows.
 
hell yea. downloaded it on my home pc now installing on my work pc. IT dept is closed for the day so i can work on my 3's.
 
can you guys make video settings editable? I want to run with slightly lower settings so my computer can handle it without and lag.
