SNOW: freeride/freestyle skiing game

yea i thought myTP on my iPhone was good but Suuskur thanks so much for posting that PC freeskiing game. I got it the other night and its awesome! def will hold me over till somethin else comes out.

and then i hooked an old ps2 controller up to my PC so i can use that instead of the keyboard and man its fuckin awesome

I agree. Blackbox/EA.. the physics in the skate series is un-matchable... that work put into a ski game..... all you fuckers have no idea how sick it would be.
 
You don't have to do triples off of everything? And you can't even do them off of everything? Your life sucks shit.

great. another game that won't be mac compatible. hopefully there is a miracle that puts it on the consoles. do these companies not realize a pretty good percentage of younger people own macs these days?
 
if you really cant wait then look at gnarshmallow.com it is sick and works for macs and pcs there is even a cult here on ns

"In all art you do what you know, and I've skied and snowboarded all my life, so I'm very familiar with it. The feeling of being on snow, and the whole off piste and free riding aspect, being in slightly dangerous areas. I feel like that has really helped us in getting the right idea, and knowing what our audience wants. We've been doing research online, and when SSX was announced, there was a lot of feedback saying "Why won't you do something like Skate?". We saw that, people really do want something that we wanted, so that really motivated us to get things going."
 
The new screenshots do look incredibly sick... if they can make realistic powder physics (which cryengine is definitely capable of) this has alot of potential
 
SSX on tour for ps2 is still the best game to date for any console its such a shame we have nothing to cure the urge to ski someone needs to step up with a quality game with realistic clothing and "trickery "

How much does that cost? Thought about getting it but there was something stopping me...but I forget
 
Yeahhh! Im so stoked! I suggested this and it won the comp so they implemented it, they want me to somehow leave my own mark in the game also, still not sure how.
 
hopefully this doesn not become another jib life. you guys should add more real life spots, that gap above looks a hell lot like chads, some others to include:

leviathan

breckenridge quad kink

rail garden

im sure there are more
 
Sick, I remember seeing the trailer for this last year. Can you guys post any new screenshots/gameplay footage? I'm pretty excited to play it.
 
I mostly want to see what the switch riding is going to look like. The ski trails/snow spray looks super awesome
