SNOW is the first true freeride and freestyle game for skiers and snowboarders. Based on the free-to-play model, SNOW looks to restart the winter sports genre taking the player back to basics refining scale, physics and controls to capture the majesty of the mountain. SNOW is a game for riders, by riders.

SNOW will be released for free later this year and developed according to feedback from the community.

good if they did that game right with actual mountains and made it like a simulation (not total sim like add some fun elements) but that has sooooo much potential to have a good engine, good graphics, and actual real mountain trails to ski on. like if they put whistler, jackson, alta etc. in there that would be soooooo sick and it would prolly sell decently too i bet that would be a pretty hard project though
 
they just need to have the people who make like COD make a game like this... then it will be way more legit, better graffics, but i would buy any ski game if it wasnt gay lol
 
i just want EA: Ski to come out. until then i just pretend I'm skiing when I hit up the super ultra mega park
 
hahahahahahaha if this is made with cryengine3, this is the worst looking use of it ever

also for anyone that asks why this or jiblife won't be on consoles, do you know how much work/money it takes to get a game published?
 
it needs park, i'm not complaining, but to accurately portray the skiing lifestyle that newschoolers want it needs to exemplify more than one aspect of skiing.
 
I was just about to make a thread about this. Looks pretty damn cool. Appeals to me way more than an "Urban Sessions" game. Graphics look a lil sloppy right now, but at least they have a gameplay vid. this concept is the ski game that i wanna play. some park would be cool too...buuuuut i would much rather huck virtual cliffs.

 
If you guys really want park, wait for jiblife! I have been waiting for a game like this for years, I am so stoked its finally happening!!
 
I absolutely love how this just came out of nowhere, destroyed jib life, and is coming out before jib life
 
looks kinda dope. charge a little bit of money though to help hire better game designers and stuff
 
I can't stop thinking about it, so pumped! I hope it gets multiplayer, imagine skiing down a huge mountain with friends

Unless you're a massive fan of doing triples off everything that game is terrible.

Also, it's available on mac as well, shame it still sucks shit.
 
I hope they include a park in the first release, didn't see any in the trailer. Wish the developers could get on here and answer some questions. like what is the plan for multiplayer
