Snow dirt jumps

hey guys im building snow dirt jumps in my back yard just wondering if anyone on this site has done that before and could give me some tips?

do any of u guys have any cool ideas?

 
yeah ive done that before it worked pretty good

when you set up the dirt dont worry to much on shaping it

get it to the height you want

kind of shape it for what kind of jump u want a launch jump or a nice kicker

it all depends on your prefrence

trust me it nice because thats less work when it snows and u get to go ski faster

go for it

oh yeah pack it down good too
 
Snow dirt jumps? dirt jumps involve dirt, not snow. That title is weird but i know what you mean. just make a jump with good pop.
 
Depending on how much snow you get you need to build it differently. If you get a lot of snow then just make a big mound of dirt resembling the height with and length of the jump but you don't really need too much transition because that is best to add in with snow. If you don't get much snow then just build a jump out of dirt exactly how you want it to be in the winter and then when it snows just pack the snow on it. Also pack the dirt super tight and water the jumps to get the dirt to set right if you don't and there's pockets of air in the dirt then the dirt will collapse when the ground freezes
 
go up on the landing with boots, and pack the shit out of it. nothing worse than having tires stick into the landing and going over the bars
