Snow Conditions at Whitewater

Any info or comments on the Backcountry conditions at Whitewater would be most appreciated. Thanks a bunch

Its been dry for a while and seems it will be for a while longer

Yes right now, like the rest of the northwest (I think), isn't the best time if you are looking for good snow. Let this weather pattern pass by until it starts precipitating again and the conditions will be much better. The thing with Whitewater though is that if it stays somewhat cold then there is always good snow in the backcountry, you just have to find it.

i was skiing just south of whitewater the other day and north facing slopes were still soft. but south facing was mashed potatoes with a baked crust. would have been nice for dinner, but not for skiing
