Snow boarding to skiing, need beginner ski.

He has been snowboarding for about 6 years but is now planning on making the switch to skiing. He is not a bad skier he can do o.k carves but nothing super aggressive( it shouldn’t take me long to get my turns better) He hasnt really decided if he wants a stiff or soft ski, hes kinda in the middle and he skis east coast conditions.



He will be skiing 90% park, 10% all mountain.

He's 5’7” and 130lbs

His budget is 100-260$( not retail, Hes willing to buy from ebay, and the internet in general)

anyways, i was in the same position as your friend just a few inches shorter, i got ar3s and they are super fun

id suggest: invaders, anthems, fujis, thrusters, spk

fujis or tms. i switched from boarding a couple years ago and started with the tms and loved every second i was on them
