i just went to the premier for the new mackdawg movie the pulse. the movie got old'you know snowboarding and all but they had a sick tossout. i got a sweet backpack

 
Well I know snowboarding, but I don't understand how it could get old...Mack Dawg makes better movies that MSP and PBP combined.

i think SB1 has it beat...i mean, they had Stratton Mt groom the snowboard only pipe for skiboarders at night...they killed it with the alley oops, and rocket grabs

snowboard movies arent good anymore. they arent funny anymore. theyre too hardcore. the riding is still pretty sick though

I wish ski movies got funnier. I know we wanna see the latest and greatest tricks and moves to bust out at the park, but a little more humor helps add to the movie. Like Subject to Change- awesome moves, pretty good music, some crazy new stunts, and some jackass humor. It made it a pretty good movie in my opinion. Propaganda was also really nice with the house jumps and the little ski-sled backflip opening segment. I know ski movies will eventually beat out snowboard movies.

SB1 has plenty of humor. you may laugh because its so stupid, but, your laughing..so its humor...mm hmm...its no more of a fad than snowboarding, its definitly here to stay...

i just watch the vancouver premiere the other night. it's true, pulse was disappointing in comparison to last year's footage. jibfest was neat and had some really good riding actually but not worth the money. skids 2 was rad, but the movie to watch out for is robotfood. louie fountain's style blew me away and jussi oksanen just utterly killed it too.

they're still ahead of us but we we're nipping at their heels and even beating em at some stuff.

 
I've seen Stand and Deliver, AMP, True Life, and The Resistance, all by Mack Dawg. I noticed that Stand and Deliver and AMP were okay, but not something that I'm quite as interested in buying. But True Life and The Resistance (both Forum team videos) were some of best films I've seen. AMP was released at the same time as The Resistance, and Stand and Deliver with True Life, so I'm not sure why they seemed so different.

I just had a fdrunken session with some chums watchin 3 snow board vids, the resistance (classic), true life and Stand and Deliver. All BOMB movies. I loved Technical Difficulty though, that's my favoroite. Mad Dawg is awesome and he has the same name as my uncle, Mike MacIntyre. Except they spell it differently or some shit. YEYE!

Man, you saw Vivid? Is that out yet, that is going to be the sickest shit. Anyone seen TB11 yet? Ya but forsure the ones to get are Vivid, Fourplay and Afterbang (Robotfood).

Dawgers movie is the worst of the year. Standard (notice to appear) and Vivid are way better. Next week I'll get Happy Hour.

Anyone heard about Happy Dayz next week in Boulder? Friday night I think.

mackdawg movies are pretty tight, i mean the resistance was good. But nothing will ever top the whiskey trilogy. If skiing made movies like that, i think they would sell a lot. You gotta have guys doing stupid shit or else people will get bored. fuckin boozy the clown

 
The problem with snowboarding vids is that first of all its hard to tell when a rider is riding switch so every trick looks the same. Second, they rarely do flips so every trick is either a spin or a corked spin. Mistys rodeos and dspins on snowboards dont exist, they all just get molded into one category of corked spins, which is essentially what they are, but since so many riders just do corked spins and regular spins, whcih also often look like corked spins, the entire sport then gets realy boring really fast. The upised is that snowboarders can do a lot more on rails then skiers (50/50, switch 50/50, boardslide ,fs boardslide, tailslide, noselslide) and also snowboard movies often have the most insane jumps ever built. But skiing is progressing so fast that I'm sure we'll catch up on the insane jump building and the varied rail sliding really soon.
