Snow at Killington?

I heard that Killington has K-1 open and I was wondering if anyone has skied Killington yet. If you have is it worth traveling 3 and a half hours because there's probably a long lift line and it hasn't snowed much? And is it open on weekdays? I was just wondering because I really can't wait for the ski season if you know what I mean.

How's the snow, is it decent enough to carve because they've been blowing snow or is it really patchy with ice. And you said the lift lines aren't bad?

I Posted this in another thread here.

There's a 50/50 chance that Killington may not be open next week.

It all depends how the weather pans out for the upcoming week. If we don't get the good cold temperatures mid-week, they will have trouble being open due to a lack of snow on the lower elevation trails.

Nope. Aside from the fact that it was 60 some degrees yesterday.

Snowmaking tmeps look good the next few nights if they want it with overnight lows in the teens on Wednesday and Thursday.

We'll see.

K will be open tomorrow for Veterans Day.

I'd say it's looking good for the weekend.

anyone think its worth the 2 hours and $45 for me

im trying to decide whether or not to go

and are their any new features or anything...probs not but just seeing

so killy says they're open tomorrow...is it worth a 2hr drive to come up? i'd go if the snow wasn't total shit

did the rain kill a lot of snow?

i also don't care at all about what features they have, were the normal runs decent?

it didnt seem like it killed it too much cept on the lower trail where the traverse was pretty slow...overall it seemed to stay cause it was kinda cold
