Snoqualmie POST SEASON JIB SESH 2010

Hopefully I'll get the the edit from last weekend wrapped up by tomorrow... I've been fighting software and export issues, having not done this video stuff in years.

I promise you it'll be good, there's definitely some sweet shots.

Speaking of which, I know people were taking pictures, any of them get posted up?

I'll be up tomorrow as well.

and the video from last weekend is still converting on vimeo... so sometime this century I can post a link to it.

sick day even tho it rained almost the entire time we were up haha.
also if anyone sees the red w/ a black handle shovel we used to set up the pipe, thatd be sick. some of the boarders there think it was another boarder who took it on accident but they didnt know for sure. kinda blows : /

it would have been nice to have a sunny day again but people still threw down hammers. it was fun to watch everyone stomp backflips today. props to johan for stomping backies and drew for learning front swaps.

also, we should get everyone to park up on the snow. It's such a good parking spot!!

so me and a few guys are going to head up to west again for one last session for the season. anyone is welcome to join. id like to see a good turn out like last time. should be a good time!

think there will be enough snow up there around memorial day weekend? cause i was thinking of going that friday.

ahhhhh i wish i could all my weekends are filled up except for the weekend of the 21st...and im pretty sure they'll be little to no snow by then ): let me know what its like up there this weekend?

I went up today and there is still plenty of snow but no more jibbs all that is left up there is a 30 foot down rail.

no jibs, well then jib the car. haha.

myself, Andy (justice), I think marc and two snowboarder friends are going up tomorrow. well later on today I guess.

snoqualmie is pretty much done for the summer now. they've moved all the rails/features back to central where there is no snow. the snow mound at West is still there but there aren't a lot of options.

I saw this guy named Andy hit a down rail, pretty sure he goes by justice but maybe I'm full of shit.
Also two corrugated tubes, random wood jibs, another pipe or two that can be set up, a street sign thing, tables and some jumps and stuff. Enough snow to have fun for sure. Definitely not all the rails/features have been moved.

next weekend the place to be is Rainier.

were planning on staying overnight, build some sick jumps, do a sunset shoot at night and just chill, sleep under the stars or in snow caves or something.

Also good news, the timberline pass got extended to june 15th again if anyone has the spring pass. I'm definitely going to be heading up there again if anyone wants to join, hopefully in two weekends from now.

shit jonas why didn't you say so earlier? i will try to get work off for that too!

also yes, i did hit the down rail. and yes, i do go by justice.

I did when I was chillen at your place. Don't you remember, I asked if you could get work off again and you said its really hard right know because two people left and there are two new people or something like that.

Well its over now, they got pissed about the trash and anyone seen up there jibbing will not be allowed a park pass next season, bummer.

Its on their facebook page under notes.

it was pretty trashed. made me sad to see all the crap up there in the pass. snoqualmie treats us by leaving jibs all around and people pay them back by leaving their crap everywhere. damn 15 year old snowboarders.

AIIGHT GUYS LOOKS LIKE IT'S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR!

PRE SEASON JIB SESH?!

seriously though. it just started snowing at stevens.

yeah it is looking like its that time of year however this is for post season not preseason but, i guess its superrrrrrrrrr post season now so yeah.
