yup. just making sure everybody knows. they said it on king 5 about 15 mins ago and the hours of operations page on snoqualmie's website confirms it, even though the front page says

"keep checking back here for operational announcements as our opening

date has not yet been determined. Hope to see you all on the slopes

very soon!"

it wasn't that bad. but its west and the first day.... what did you expect? one of the lifties said they were building a park tonight... but didn't know what they were actually putting in

true, true, i was really tired so thats why i felt like shit probaly. ANd hoepfully they do have a box or two tommorow. that would be great. Still seems like they didnt groom at all. What were you wearing/riding?

The fact that they didn't groom made it fun as hell, there were spots of knee deep powder off the to the far left of julie's chair, go too slow and you'll get sucked in. There were so many fucking people there, and spending 45 minutes in a makeshift parking lot on I-90 near Denny Creek exit at 9am was not fun, for all those involved, you know what I mean. I'll be back up tomorrow, more snow is on the way, couple inches tonight and tomorrow, with a foot expected tomorrow night, and the forecast also calls for snow between today and next Saturday, things should be shaping up fairly well for Snoqualmie over the course of this week, be patient.

Fuck, I was gonna say something about them not allowing skiers there anymore, but fucking Billy beat me to it.

Delivery was a bit off Billy, it could've been funnier, but otherwise, good job!

yeah for first day at west, I have no complaints. It's west, there's nothing there. Turns out the little chair over by the magic carpet is the funnest one to lap on a day like that.

I'll be there dusting off the cobb webs... looks for a dude with Rossi Scratch BCs and a white/brown suit.

How many people were up at Summit West during the power outage? There were people hiking everywhere. Not too happy I left before the power came back on, but at least I got some powder turns, that I earned.

I was there.... got in one run before the power ran out. They had to run the diesel generators to get us off the lifts. I hiked two more times before I called it quits. It was nice and powdery though. At what time did the power come back on?

yeah power out kinda sucked, but i still had fun, there were like 9 features that everyone was hiking and hitting, too many ppl though. We made a little tree jib, jump thing it was pretty fun untill the power landing ran out

what features were up? god i wish alpental was open tomorrow with all this new snow!!! but alas, my knees are probably too soar to ski tomorrow any how.

so many fuckin kids. stop skiing no poles. especially the one fool with the rasta jersey over the coat and no poles that could barely ski. no homo.

who cares about spelling, i said in a debate in school today, Anna Tommy instead of "anatomy" and i said artitian instead of artist. pretty damn embarassing. ^good news, too bad ill miss out until next tuesday

A smart man should be able to find at least two different ways to spell a word. -Thomas Jefferson.

To day Kevin is that smart man. Rowen is just a dick.
