can they be serious? they only have like 20 inches! stevens is holding out cause they want to ensure a steady season and they have more than 30 inches.. not to mention that snoqualmie is supposed to get rained on throughout the whole week.

It was surprisingly nice up there today. Lots of fresh snow, and it was a huge plus to not have to pay for a ticket.

No jib park up as of today. What was up with that?

the right side of west is open the quad and two of the doubles are open. no jibs but theres a little booter built up and some decent hits through out.

can anyone actually confirm this? I drove over snoqualmie the other day and it looked pretty pathedic.

Nothing at West is ever "decent". I have a pass at Snoqualmie, but! Saying anything positive about west besides it's good for lil kids is a straight up LIE

everyone gets the point, its a total waste if youre buying a ticket and even if you have a seasons pass, youre spending money on gas just to ski.. what? its not worth it..

some of my most memorable days of skiing have been on different opening days at west. this year will be another.

on another note... if you wanna sound spoiled as shit tho and complain about west, think about all of these kids in the midwest that are sking on landfills that are wayy smaller than west. and they are all having so much fun.

We have some of the longest seasons in the country and get to ski three sick hills with one pretty cheep pass. so get over yourself and dont trash things because you think its the 'cool thing to do'.

This is true. I used to love West, expecially Beaver Lake.

I guess I've just been spoiled by the BC at Alpental and six packs at Crystal. Ima jerk

whats todays date? where are we talking about?

I'd say skiing at snoqualmie in november is decent, if not pretty good.

I'd say the coverage and the few rocks i saw were decent considering it's november

Now if it was January there's no way i would be saying that what we skied yesterday was any good at all.

I won't be at west if alpental is open. ever. but it wasn't bad. I had a good time and it was definitely worth the quarter tank of gas it cost me to ski.

I tried the newschoolers call out on the kid with the green level 1 shirt but he didn't know it!

I figured it was a sure thing that just about anyone with a level 1 tall tee would know the newschoolers call out.

im rolling with a black level 1 tall tee (not jamie) so call out the NS if you're up there any time soon. it might actually be worth it to go up if they get some more snow and set up some boxes soon.

heading up tommorrow ill bring back the word on boxes and what not.

also thought i would share this.

HEAVY SNOW IS FORECAST ACROSS THE WEST FACING SLOPES OF THE

NORTH AND CENTRAL CASCADES WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING.

SNOWFALL TOTALS OF 1 TO 3 FEET ARE POSSIBLE OVER THIS PERIOD. SNOW

LEVELS WILL BEGIN AROUND 3000 FEET WEDNESDAY NIGHT THEN RISE TO

AROUND 4000 FEET ON THURSDAY. TEMPERATURES IN THE PASSES WILL

REMAIN NEAR OR BELOW FREEZING WITH SOUTHEAST FLOW...LEADING TO A

WINTRY MIX AT STEVENS AND SNOQUALMIE PASS.

definatly not very good snow but could strengthen our base as long as it isn't all rain

im heading up to stevens with a friend on sunday too. the only reason i knew you had a tall tee from level 1 was the pictures you have on your profile. i had just been looking at everyone in the PNW.
