SNOQUALMIES SUMMIT CENTRAL IS CHANGING ITS NAME TO "SNAKE CENTRAL"

just kidding, but seriously. the amount of snaking that goes on there is unbelievable. I think that the following people should be kept out of the park...because they promote frustration and anger due to their ignorance/gaperness:

1>> Old dudes who think they can rip the park by sliding down the inruns, landings and doing big wide turns like its a powder field.

2>> Retarded 'scene' girl snowboarders who cant acttually snowboard but have all the nicest shit and like to stop on the tops of jumps.

3>> Little kids who snowplow over EVERYTHING and turn uncontrolably and without warning, therefore increasing risk of collision.

4>> Families on vacation, because they usually include at least 2 of the previous 3.

Lets start some rules, ok?

1. when little kids hit the rail lips off to the side, shout at them to make them feel dumb, therefore making them not want to do it again. "Its not a jump!" works well.

2. shout at people who snake you knowingly, especially older people. they really have no understanding of how a terrein park works, so lets potty train 'em.

3. call "Drop" and "next drop" before you go.

uh yea...so lets keep snoqualmie's park from becoming the next mammoth mountain (IE, fuck gapers).

you sound surprised by this aswell. It is what it is, it'll never change. I ignore it, never bothers me. The only things that REALLY bother me are when they wait for someone either a) on the jump for a rail, or b) at the end of a rail. kevin is good at yelling at people, i'm way too nice.
 
central is not bad AT ALL compared to west. with hte west park nice and fun now, its a sick place. but today alone, i saw probably 10+ almost death collisions. yelled at probably 40-50 little kids for being on hte landings. ran into about 3 kids from being on the landings. and of course been snaked by the kids who need to make sure the jumps dont have lips by rolling over hte take offs.

all this ONLY on the 2 jumps at hte bottom.......

its pretty bad, they should have a rule where ur alowed to beat up little kids if they act retarded. WHY DO U HAVE TO GO DOWN THE LANDING! WHAT IS THE MATTER WITH THE SNOW 30FT TO YOUR LEFT WHERE YOU WONT DISTURB ANYONE!!!>!>!?!?!?!?!?! HUH?!?!?!

i always get pissed at west, but its still fun
 
Yeah, just yesterday my friend just about landed on this kid (who was in the landing) and hip checked on his landing so he wouldnt run into him, and yelled at him to get out of the landings. Then the kids dad skied over and they left the park.
 
looks like ippy got into a fight or something today. he was down talking to the cops and there were two snowboarders talking to the other cops
 
dude are u serious stop wasting space on the internet this has been posted like 12348792834 times and i like to do big ass 180's of boxes and rails and shit are u gonna tell me not to use it as a jump?

im from bellevue but goto school outta state and was in town for the weekend so i didn't know how bad it had gotten. 2 years ago it was no where near as bad as it is today.

you're a fag who should do big '180s' over the one of MANY table tops at snoqualmie so you dont ruin the park for the rest of us who know how to ski.

someone should talk to the managment or someone who can do something about this. even one person to sit at the top of the park and monitor who goes through the gates, that would'nt be too hard to do.
 
asking for this not to happen is completely out of the question. just yell at the ones who do it. it's much more satifying.
 
im sure the park crue has complained to managment about it, but like everybody is saying, its inevitable. even if they had somebody sit at the park entrance (especially at central) they ski under the rope coming from golden nugget.

yell at them. they wont know they're doing anything wrong unless you tell them. i try to be nice about it, but that doesn't always work. things like "get out of the way" "move" or "take the kids to the mini park" work pretty well. most people don't respond to obsinities
 
ya 180's on table tops are fun to. but basicly im telling you to just stfu because we have heard this complaint 1million times and dont really wanna hear it again.
 
happens everywhere... The way to get away from it involves a shovel and a hike and build your own shit.
 
you're right. i can only ski the park. thats why i moved out to montana. so i could take my cat up to the BC, groom it, set up a rail and gnar the hell out of it. but ONLY park, no powder.
 
I totally see where you're coming from. its happening in Baker's park also, i mean the other day some friends and i were all waiting to drop when, from out of no where like 500,000 gaper ass little kids with their dads came wedging/tucking through the park cutting everyone off. i think park attendents should not only have shovels but also guns to shoot all the fucking gapers!!!!
 
well gapers are attracted to parks because they dont really know whats going on. they see it as a groomed run, with possible fun for the kids, and possible fun for the older people. they can use the sides of jumps and stuff which provides them with some entertainment. i dont understand why many just carve down through the park, but then again, they see a groomer and by god they are going to ski the groomer.
 
the fact is those gapers you hate, are the sole reason why the mountains stay open.. you should really be thanking them.
 
no.. not jesus, but him and moses gave me all i have today, without them id be lost in this cruel world of misery.
 
its like that everywhere when little kids go up to kickers and snowplow over them i just yell dont do that from the lift.
