did you guys go and hike up the clear cut on sunday? the thread about it just kinda disapeared. let me and sean (brit1275) know if you're ever gonna do it again and hopefully maybe we will be able to go.

why don't they put a knife on a spork? doesn't that make sense to you?
 
Me and Schwags went up there last weekend, rest assured it was the biggest waste of time EVER. It might be pretty cool with more people though. I don't know.

 
That trip kinda fell apart, everyone went up to Baker. Hopefully we will one of these days, I went up on saturday for a few hours and there was still more snow than there was last year in the middle of winter.

 
well we should try and plan another one. do you mean the snow lasted till mid SUMMER?

its right across the freeway from ski acres. it has a huuuge ass kicker halfway up thats a old road for clear cutting

I personally haven't been there, but I know where it is. If you're at ski acres, just look straight across the valley and its the big empty clear cut on the little hill over there. You always see tracks over there. but like I said, i've yet to hit it over there, looks like fun though.

Which part of ski acres? Summit Central, East, or West? also, how do i get back to forums i've posted at without havign to search for them?

yeah, it used to be called ski acres back in the day, before the new ownership. and uh..kevin, maybe. crystal's a long drive though, anybody know how much snow there is still at alpental. we wanted to go build a jump just up by the parking lot. anybody been up there since closing?

crystal snow might suck but im up for it anyways. any ski time i can get!

I hope to see you all at crystal memorial day because it's gonna be sweet no matter what (hey, it's skiing isn't it?) BTW, is there a road to access the clear cut or do ya hafta hike it? I've seen it many times before but haven't figured out how to get there...

mid-summer really wont work, its a old ass logging road that isnt even there anymore. If you go too late there are thousands of little trees that are uncovered by the lack of snow
