Snoqualmie 11-12

Tell me someone else saw that skier chilling on the landing of a jump in the upper park get absolutely fucked up by that snowboarder yesterday afternoon. Saw it from Central Express, definitely one of the gnarlier crashes I have seen in a while.

Good thing for park passes...oh wait.
 
Sorry for dub post but yeah! That was gnarly the kid had his knee dislocated from what I heard from the patrol...The snowboarder was park crew too...
 
Patrol was right behind us on the lift and freaked out immediately, we had the best seat in the house for that beastly crash.

I feel bad for the skier and all, because that looked fucking painful, but that was the absolute worst spot to be hanging out. The snowboarder fucking rocked his world and I hope the skier won't be doing that stupid shit again when he's back on his feet.

Did he actually have a park pass? Because it was obvious they weren't checking shit as usual.
 
with that many people jumping off a lift at once, it can make the cable detach from the towers and you guys would all get fucked. fyi#dumbasses
 
the kid that got fucked is max nelson. he fractured his femur. and we does have his park pass. and i think hes like 13? and he was trying a cork
 
He wasn't trying a cork when I saw him. He was standing on the landing for no apparent reason, completely oblivious to the airborne snowboarder heading his way. And then there was a pile of bodies and gear.
 
Yea I was actually on the lift when that happened too, kid got destroyed! But hopefully he is doing ok now, That's a hell of a way to end your season for sure. and Jasper, i know for sure that the snowboarder that hit him isn't on park crew. Just sayin
 
Could be a different kid, I have no idea.

All I know is that some skier got landed on by a snowboarder in the upper park, and it was fucking brutal.
 
Max isn't a dumbass he was not doing anything wrong...On another note some kid with the single largest gaper gap I have ever seen was sitting in the landing of the jump above the one mentioned before. I was coming into the second jump going mach 5 hopped the roller and missed the kid who was oblivious to his horrible positioning by like an inch..I ran over his skis. Super scary.
 
Didn't know about this thread till now but I had like 20 days at alpental and central I met a few nsers at a demo day at Stevens but idk any of you. Who's the guy with Jeffrey's? I saw you a few time ;)
 
i was there three weeks ago and the base was gettin low on snow, i bet if you hiked a quarter way up or higher you could ski... probably no features up there but i could be wrong. if not get at least 5 homies and carry up a flatbar
 
if your willing to put in the effort go to alpy. plenty of snow left up there to build whatever you like, but if you want a lift and some rails go to crystal. I might try to make it up this sunday also
