saturday night i was up and some kid crashed and the brake of his afterbangs shot off and one of his skis went into the woods and he never found it.

If that kid is on here, sorry bro that really really sucks

About 2cm of ice on top of powder at alpental....worst stuff ever, skied the edelweiss bowl traverse, caught an edge at the bottom and hit my face on the ice and cut my gums up, haha.

aah damn i was packin all my avy gear looking for a bc weekend...hope the bc as a whole is alright anyone know?

i think abe was being sarcastic. there is a nasty rain crust right now that is semi breakable and terrifying to ski on.

it melted low down at central but i don't think it got cold enough to do the same at alpental

anybody stay at alpental late enough yesterday to know if the crust melted or not?

Was up there today, the crust was breakable but kind of a pain in the ass. Pretty much you looked for areas that were tracked out. Got better throughout the day.

I was up early this morning and found a few spots that had knee high windblown stashes. What little powder there was, was exceptional. Everything else was terrible however.

damn that's too bad, would have been sick to have a bluebird pow day.

filmed at alpy on monday with my new gopro and put some shots together.

Super fun day today on my JJs, good pow, lot of people and bad line on chair 2 but awesome day.

anyone see the guy in the telatubbie head in the park on saturday? guy was rocking haha that was a really cold weekend. fun tho, till i snapped my lines on a bc jump

more like this year we have been consistantly having good snow so the features don't require as much maitenance as the slush that defined snoqualmie last year. but they definatley do a really good job of using all of their space and putting up good features

I would have to agree with this. It's a little sketchy coming out of the first jump and speed checking just the right amount before the takeoff for the second.

Also, how do you guys feel about more skier events this year? On their facebook, they mentioned the lack of contact from ski companies, so if we don't get ski companies to help sponsor events, we won't be able to have them. So what's the consensus on that? I would love a few rail jams or even "slopestyles" this year, but I'm not sure how realistic that is.
