Snoqualmie 09-10

true is constructed way better now!

except Pretzels and Polish donuts says, a snowbaording event...

and its been FREEZING!!! but we need more snow,, not just cold

It was a pretty good day.

the features they have are legit, and even though it was kind of dust on crust, there were some spots with legit pow.

IM GOING THIS WEEKEND!!!! i dont care what the damn doctor says. i will be at snocompton on friday, saturday and sunday.

haha.. get your icy park days in while you can! (no sarcasm)

early season is always the best cause everyone is just super stoked to be shredding.

they did a great job putting in some new things to mix it up for the 2nd weekend of park. and 5th? weekend of opening....

its been to warm to blow snow too, so it must have been hard to put features up

I was up Tues. and Thurs. and they were blowin snow, mostly into the pipe and small jump line. Are the jumps not open yet?

I was up there today and someone in a blue saga jacket filmed me on a box. id like to see that if its not to hard. thanks and is anyone going up tommarow? ill be up there!

Fella's, What up...

I was just checkin' to see if any of you cats can tell me what to expect out there in the next few weeks. I'm headed out with my buddy Aaron (SkiUnit270) who used to live in WA last year and probably rode with some of you guys, and my brother. We're landing in Seattle on Christmas Day, night at like 9pm and are gonna ski like the next 4 days after that. How's the park looking? Lots of snow or what? We're also lookin to get some Pow shredding in as well. Anything hood (good) at Alpental? (i.e. do they have enough snow?) If ya'll could get back to me either on here or PM that would be rad. Thanks.

Cody.

P.S.-If you out there during X-mas week/weekend or week after rather, give us a shout. We are all rockin this years Armada and Oakley, if that narrows it down at all...........................whatever. Thanks.

Small jumps are up, biggest one is about the size of the first jump in the big line last year if I remember correctly. Not very poppy though.

2 jump line was up, they were pretty small but really fun actually. lost a lot of lip throughout the day though

We hit up Alpental this morning. The top of two had tons of freshies, the cliffs are still big, and I took two runs, and then a chair FELL OFF off the cable on the way down, not too far from the base of 2. They stopped the lift, and then evacuated everyone off of it. Glad that I wasn't involved in that mess, or on that chair.

The park is looking good at Central. Slushy today, the jumplines are small but open, and a fair number of jibs. Wish that they would add a little bit of lip to the up rail on the right up top, but aside from that I didn't have any complaints. The up/flat creeper box is way fun.

Yeah it is really starting to take shape.
