Lets get this thread started again for the next year.

also, anyone know whats happening up there now? They have not even started weather reporting.

stoked for it. but ill also be spending some time at stevens with a friend.

did you guys check out people getting their early season on (webcams)?

haha that was me with the pvc under the clock tower. we also built a rythem section through the patio that has the elbow kink. super sick day

yeah, drove up there last night and it was dumping, almost got stuck in the parking lot in my friends ford escape. so stoked.

nice.. yeah, im planning on spending some time at stevens cause snoqualmie can't get their stuff together.

we were up at alpental with a little pvc rail today. it was felt great to get back on the skis.

I will be hitting up snoqualmie this year. What's their policy on camping in my car in the parking lot? Cause its a 3 or 4 hour drive for me so I plan on driving up and camping for a night or two on various weekends.

gesus. haha thats gonna be cold, unless u have a trailer or something!

but i think its fine, i see camping trailers at west sometimes

Nah dude, sleeping bag and clothes will keep me toasty...hopefully...or if anyone has a house nearby...?

nah, sleeping in your car is fine, just be sure to ski hard until close so you can pass out right away, because it can get boring otherwise if you can't get into bars. If you can get into bars you're set. Anyways, last year they decided to instill a charge at alpy lot 3, which is generally the old fun people, but they were'nt really checking at the central nor the west overnight section, so those should still be fair game, but you can never be too sure. Also there is overnight parking on the west side of the central parking lot that can fill up quick, but if you're there they'll just think you live there. also im really drunk so if grammatical collocations have been violated i apologize but the facts remain valid.

directly from the site:

West Park (located just off the plaza) - Opening temporarily

until Central is open. Check out the features you'll be able to hit

this week: 20’up corrugated pipe to propane tank stall; 15’ bear box;

20’ gateway box and drop ins so you don’t have to hike.

i'm gonna be there...
look for me with: saga purps pants, huge white tall tee, gray atmosphere jacket, purple crowbars, black bern helmet + mucho homies

Yeah I'll be up there Sunday. Blue pants, black jacket and a blue helmet. I'm a complete noob in the park, but if I see anyone I'll try to give you a shout out or something.

your best bet is to close down the bars after your done skiing. there's always some drunk guy thats like "we going to the party at ... bla bla bla house." Well, I dont know if this is your best bet, but you can camp at alpental lot all you want. Some Rv's are there helluva long time

MAN! Snoq was a let down today. I guess with all the past rain, they got a nice, uneven, icy base, with a few in of heavy stuff on top. Good for the season, but rough as heck to ski on.

Oh well, let's hope this weekend's snow fixes that problem.

yes, it takes like 10 minutes...
yesterday was really fun though. i just sessioned that battleship box for like 3 hours straight. haha

they will probs have the small jumps open right away....

and then take another month to open the big jumps ahha

Guys... you have to be more patient. There is NO snow up there right now. I'm amazed they're even open. Its like the end of the season when they're trying to stretch it out as long as they can, except its the beginning.

At the bottom of central express, the groomed snow is only 6 inches deep in spots, if that. Certainly not enough snow to build even small jumps. They could put up a few rails sure... but with all the rain, they'd just melt and tip over, no point.

And don't worry about any "great weather" today, sure it was sunny in the lowlands, but it was totally socked in with fog (per the usual) and rain/sleeting at the mountain.

Silver Fir is the place to be right now, lots of logs and rocks to jump off of, some pretty huge drops too on the main runs, just have to watch out for holes... I found one today. Lots of fun even in the rain, you just have to find your own fun, forget the park.

it dosn't completely suck at central. i got this built
