FUCK PASS GOT PULLED FOR DUCKING FOR UPPER BC.... SHITTTT!!!!!!!! snow was epic though but fuck any1 got any tips on what to do?!
 
Tell them they don't pull Bryce Phillip's pass when he ducks for upper BC.

no but seriously suspended or pulled for the season? and they didn't open nash gate?

they put the pole jam back to where it was

and put a BIG up gap down box on the knowl where it was

they put the corregated tube in, down

and then they took out the whale tale and put the Valentines flatbox where it was.

and then they put a flat bar on the secon knowl (far skiers left)

and where the pill capsull was they put in the double barrel skinny tower as a stall is jib...
 
I'll be up tomorrow after class. I got my cam so we'll get some filming. Crappy cam, but nice lenses so it works out haha. I haven't been in about a week and it sounds nice up there. It's goin down!
 
snake dance was pretty awesome yesterday.

kevin and chris got their passes pulled years ago (for a different reason) and they had to pay like $75 to get their passes back.

Don't duck ropes :(
 
i get it back!!! i called ski patrol and was super nice and he said i could have it back tonight if i come up!!!! ill be skiin this weekend :)
 
Upper BC was open today. Not a whole lot of people at Alpy, and there was 15" of fresh out there. I didn't ski inbounds at all today, and there's a little left out there, though we tracked most of it out.

Such a sick day.

Anyone down for a BC jump tomorrow? I want to hit a kicker into powder. If you see me at Alpy, say hi.
 
besides the long lines of ski bus gapers friday night was sick especialy that 20 person train on the three hits
 
i wish i was going, but im sick and and i doubt my parents will let me go skiing all weekend, they are blaming my sickness on skiing. I plan to go at least once though
 
im gettin a ride with cthorp and the car i think is going to be full, sorry doug .... usually we would have room but our little bros are coming this time

hows the park at summit and stevens?im coming home for spring break next weekend and i heard that passes at stevens is only $79.i couldnt find a detailed report on the park.. anyone know whats up there?
 
Whats funny about this gerritt, is that they are all actually pretty young....my best guess from seeing you guys up there is 7th-8th graders.....how far off am i?
 
Yesterday was pretty crappy... Alpy isn't open monday's, so we tried Silver Fir... sucked. Only about a foot of new, but it was HEAVY, and pretty solid underneath the new stuff. So we headed over to triple-60 and did a few runs down the chutes below the cat-track, that was slightly more fun, but the snow was so damn heavy you had to lean back really hard. We ended up just doing runs through the park, but we had our powder skis so we didn't want to do any rails or anything.

The stuff in the pipe is kinda cool. Granted, cutting the half pipe would be better, having a bunch of boxes on the sides is something a little different and fun. 1/4 pipe is good too.
 
trust me billy, I would never complain about good snow. It was still an awesome day, but SERIOUSLY heavy. The snow falling, while tons of it, was very wet and felt like rain on your face. Our clothes were soaked by the end of the day.
 
Who's shredding tomorrow? I'll be up around 1:30 with my girlfriend. I've got my fingers crossed so damn hard that they made the landing on the bigger jump steeper. That thing has gotten really bad. If you fuck up and fall on your ass/side/whatever it fucking kills. It's a damn safety hazard. Its rough even if you land on your feet in the sweet spot. Well, we'll see.
 
idk i went today and it didnt really look any better, on the other hand today was awesome, packed snow but still soft, and everything retained it's shape!!!! they also made a cool line on the other side of the pipe where u can hit two small jumps, (u can go big on them still)
