Actually planning on doing a big NS get together at some point this year. We thought about doing one last year at stevens but then that weekend was the weekend of death where it snowed 50 inches and a 50 ft avy closed US2. Anyways not sure if it would be a seperate one, cause ill be for sure forming an NS team for the Hope on the Slopes event this year, and that would be a big get together day. Eh well see, its something that id like to put together at some point this season~

It rained intermittently throughout the day when I was up yesterday, but the skiing is quite fun. More jib options than before, the jumps were all hitting smoothly (first one in the big line is still super poppy), and it was slushtastic.
 
I didn't want to create a whole new thread for a long shot. My heelpiece ripped out of Hell Bent saturday night in central park. The ski shot off to skiers right somewhere between the ski patrol building and the ski school building there. Chances are it ended up in one of the tree groves there, but it could've made it to the parking lot. Its the right ski of an '09 179cm, the Marker toe piece is still on there. If anyone spots I would be deeply grateful!
 
Shit dude that exact same thing happened to us but in the mini park... We found his ski sunday morning in the trees. I work at the school I think your talking about so I'll take a look around for it and tell everyone to look for it.
 
I knuckled the first table (of the two-set) a little bit on a 5. I think that's what did. I skied over towards the 3-set and it just shot off in front of me.

I don't know if they changed it, but as far as Wednesday, the bigger jump's landing is too flat. It hurts to land. They really need to just shave it down a bit then it would be perfect, and hurt a lot less to land or fall.
 
Yes yes, we know. Steven's has better jumps.

It's not terrible, it just could be a little more friendly on the vertebrae. The take off and size are really nice though.
