I know there have been other threads about sniping games but no one has posted on this game that has just been released. Its called Sniper: Ghost Warrior. If your a hardcore sniper in other games and are looking for a more realistic and really fun game this would be perfect for you.

I havent got a chance to play it yet but am really excited to pick it up!!

Yeah I know what your saying, but think about it.... there are numerous times where a full sniper team of 2-6 people will come across enemy sniper teams as well.
 
a realistic sniper game?!

consists of laying down on the side of a mountain for 19 hours, then taking intel back to base
 
Exactly what I was thinking. It probably should be like hours of surveillance and then maybe a shot or something.

2v2 online, one shooter and one spotter would be cool though. multiple teams of 2 would work too.
 
I know that the shooting and aiming concept is supposed to be realistic, but I like games that involve shooting what I'm looking at, not something that's 5 feet away, If I wanted that I could just lag up my games with shitty internet.

 
Well I just thought that some people may get bored of the same point and shoot crap of COD sniping.... simply because it is too easy. So I thought I would put up the game I found that shows a more realistic and fun challenging side to sniping. So if you want to play your simplistic point and shoot game that is very easy to be good at then that is fine with me.
