Sneak Peak: Sony PSP To Be Unveiled June 2!

yeahhh the problem with making the graphics better is that Sony doesn't make the cards, they just buy them from the specialized companies like Nvidia or ATI (i believe Sony uses ATI). and right now most of the cards with really great graphics (like you would find in your xbox 360 or ps3) are literally bigger than the first-gen PSP. the technology just isn't at the point yet where they can put that kind of power into something small enough for a handheld.

the psp go looks pretty dope though, would also be awesome to see how Gran Turismo plays on it.
 
word man. Like really, I'm fine just playing like mario and not really caring about the graphics, ya know? the problem is, sony just makes all this extra bluetooth and ps3 connecting stuff that anyone but a hard core gamer would never use. Then, there's Nintendo which just makes puppy games and multiples of everything (cameras, screens, ect) which just really don't matter. not totally true, but just kinda how a i think of what they make.

i think ill stick to ns on my mac lol
 
idk what you guys are wining about,. the graphics on the psp are dope. lots better than my gameboy advanced haha
 
sony has always been about the hardcore gaming community though, while nintendo has always been directed at younger kids. microsoft managed to corner the market on casual gamers with stuff like Halo and Gears of War.

but for an all-around experience, nothing beats PC. seriously.
 
Tetris does fucking rule.

a big group of us this winter have been playing tetris on Gameboy. I am the reigning champ in town. I hold the high score for lines (188 lines) score (around 140000) and I beat the style b level 9.

when you play style a, and get 100000 points you get to see a rocket blast off. if you get 200000 points or beat level 9 in style b, you see some aladdin style dudes dance then a bigger rocket blast off.

this is your mission, if you choose to accept it.
 
oh e3. highlight of my beginning of summer.

im praying for a new zelda on the wii. im bummed microsoft isnt really talking about the new zuneHD, but more of the new connection/link between 360's and zunes. although it is a gaming exhibition...

i wonder if the new psp is the only thing sony's announcing? maybe the ps3 slim? i hope not
