Yeah, i have k2 fugatives, just got em this year at my shop. The tip on one skis snapped, not totally off, but i wouldnt ski on them. Do you guys have any experience on k2 and their warranties? help me out? please
K2 is ususally pretty good about their warrantee policy, BUT they can also be pretty hardass. I know K2 watches this site pretty closely and if they see that you may be trying to warrantee a product under false pretenses or if you have a "line skis" logo or any other company logo as your avatar they WILL deny the warranty! I know, this happened to a buddy of mine last spring.
I acutaly just snapped my 06 foil last weekend. I went into SKi Market with a printout of the warranty and my receipts, and they sent em back to Salomon, who will almost certainly be sending me a brand new pair!!!
I snapped my PE recently. I got them new last season around febuary. Then i blow out my knee right after. didn't put that many days on them at all. just send back this week to be warranted. Hopefully K2 hook me up with some new sticks
at the end of the season two years ago i sent in my fujatives because i could see all these stress cracks all up and down the tips and tails... didn't really affect the riding at all and i'm sure i totally could have skied them for a long time... but they sent me a brand new pair of the next year models over the summer no questions asked... K2 is legit, so as long is you didn't hit a tree or rock or unfortunately blew up on a rail you should be okay
