it's cool that we have lots of different styles in skiing...stop telling other skiers how to ski.

Seems everyone just wants that kangaroo flip. That double nose. Truck drivers. Did you see that double flip Olenick does in the pipe? Steeze! blurghhh. Make sure you bend over extra hard on the rail so it's steezy!

There are no different styles in skiing, for the most part! When I say most part, I mean for 99.9% of the skiing population.

Everyone is the same.

I really don't think that how I like to go about my skiing changes the validity of my opinion whatsoever, and I don't really appreaciate being called a fucking hypocrite and told to choke for having different ideas than you.

I simply said that there is a huge lack of different styles in skiing. "Pete" might be pushing it, but he's pushing it in the wrong direction, just like what most other pros are doing with what's probably really tough but also extremely gross looking octograbs, truckdrivers, double noses, kangaroos, etc.

I just don't agree with the thinking of "hey, if we can do it once in the air, why not do it twice over?!" because it makes what could be turned into an art into sensless midair flailing, tumbling and turning. It really bothers me.

As for fucking my sister, why would you say something like that? Get some civility.
 
You guys get so defensive over your pro skiers! You don't always have to agree with what they do, you know.

This isn't about a trick in perticular, ace of spades guy. It's about overall stuff. I watched the video of the switch double ten, and it was crazy. Obviously a very tough trick to do. But it, again, just looks like a guy in a ball like form tumbling and spinning through the air. I wouldn't care if it had an octo grab in it, or a double nose or whatever the new forced style double grab is. It's still sensless tumbling. I don't like the way it looks, and that's it!

Think about doing more simple, less big and creative stuff. You might be surprised as to how beautiful it relly can be.

I can see this one coming, so I'll say it right now. Doing a double flip isn't being creative! It's just making a trick that already exists, such as a switch cork ten, twice as gross. Twice the spin, twice the win, I guess.
 
haha the last thing i could be accused of is getting defensive over pros. i couldnt care less about most of them. i just dont like your preaching. you said "everyone is the same". theres plenty of small, stylish shit going down in skiing, why are you hating that SOME skiers are going a different direction? sorta contradicting.
 
i can see where you are coming from in esscence. but i think you care i little bit too much about style... style is an individual thing, you cant tell someone that they have a bad style because its a progressive thing, its not you have it or you dont, you develope your own style whilst riding. and yes a lot of people have similar styles. who gives a shit. and who are you to tell people what to do and what is stylee or not. who do you think is a stylee skier? Pep, Eric? yeah, but you wouldnt want everyone riding like them, they have their own niche in skiing as do all the comp riders... no point in making a big deal out of it.
