probably one of the best movies I've seen all year. I dont know why I've seen so many bad reviews online, I think it's better then the departed in some aspects.
 
God damn I want to see that movie so bad but there always sold out at blockbuster. Is Jeremy Piven good in it because he kicks ass in Entourage
 
yo he was amazing, best role I've ever seen him do...the dude from Van Wilder tears up DA agent role also
 
I'm sorry but that movie was fucking terrible. Like J.D. May said about 300, I also believe that your intelligence is directly correlated with how good of a movie you thought smokin' aces was.
 
Naw it had a great story. The thing was that the complexity of the whole film was setup pretty badly. Like there was to much going on to go from one scene to another, then to another. For the most part, I found it sick and really entertaining. It's just that the buildup of the movie was poorly handled.
 
I especially liked the random ritalin karate kid with the boner who had the grandmother with a dildo, great movie in the making right there. Oh and I love the stereotypical loudmouthed black women and southern neo-nazis or whatever the fuck they were supposed to be, excellent addition to the movie. Oh and the cum stain joke, brilliant!

Smokin' Aces was easily the worst movie I saw in theaters in the past year. I had to sit through that bullshit with my dad and both of us agreed it was one of the worst, most tasteless movies we had ever seen. If you thought it had a good plot line you probably think the same thing about other garbage movies like the recruit.
 
if you went to see the movie thinking it would be anything more than blood guts and bad one liners then you deserve to be disappointed. honestly after seeing how the movie was advertised what else would you expect? personally as long as a movie doesnt masquerade trying to be something its not then you cannot call it a bad movie, because some of us like those movies for exactly what they are.
 
Don't lie, it was terrible. I though it would be cool with the lake tahoe casinos since I've been to those quite a bit but I was sadly disappointed.
 
i thought it was a dope ass movie but i wanted to know what happened at the end to the cop that pulled the plugs
 
Dude it was meant to be an action/comedy movie. If that's not your cup of tea, then you can't review the movie fairly. It's obvious you cannot look past the movie's genre to make any fair judgment. If you want to see a "tasteful" movie then go watch The Queen, you fairy.
