Smith Variant Brim Helmet....Thoughts...

Just wondering what your houghts are on this particular helmet? Im trying to replace a Giro 9.9mx..I dig brims. Thinking this or the Salomon Patrol Ace. Anyone actually seen this Smith helmet in person?

The only thing I dont like about the RED Mutiny, K2 Rant, or the Bern, is the lack of vents or no vents at all.
