Smith Platinum Mirror Lens - not reflective?

Just got a pair of Smith Fuse goggles that I ordered online, and I'm kinda wondering about the Platinum Mirror lens. It's not actually a mirror lens. You can still see thru it, it just kinda has a silver tint to it. Are all Smith Platinum Mirror lenses like this? It seems kinda lame to me, I wanted full mirrored lenses.

How old are you 12? If you want straight up mirror lenses buy oakley for 15452 bucks. Plus they will get much more reflective outdoors.

most mirrors arent actually mirror. closest ive found is the solex mirror for anon goggles. theyre basically mirror.

a lot of mirror lenses don't look that mirror until you're actually out in the sun. i wouldnt worry about it. a lot you look at them and are like no way are those mirrored, but when you're outside they magically change

he's not doing a great job of repping the goggles.

also sorry that your lenses aren't mirrored enough, the plat mirror aren't super reflective but they're still a really great lens for all over the place. you could get the fire or blue mirror but those are really made for sunny sunny days.

check out the the gold sensor mirror it'll probably be your best bet!

Maybe you ought to do a little research before you buy and product then making a dumb thread about it. The Smith mirror lens has 25% visible light transmission. That's not very much. Just cause they don't look that dark doesn't mean they don't block the sun. Yes the Oakley Black whatever lens has a VLT of like 17% but who cares. I've skied at Hood in the summer just days away from the summer equinox (most intense light of the whole year) with the Smith mirror lens and had no problem. So I'm sure you'll be just fine...winer.
