Smith Maze- with or without lining?

Anyone know if these two helmets the same, where one is without the lining? is their shell the same with the same sizing? i.e. if I'm going to put a hat underneath I can buy the cheaper without the lining?

The shell and the sizing will fit relatively similar, but the biggest difference is that the first one has what's called MIPS.

MIPS lets the helmet slide relative to the head on angled impact so there's less of a chance of injury as it will move with the fall - it's actually pretty neat stuff.

As for me I ride it with just a shell and putting a hat underneath works just fine. Hope this helps.

Yup I just have the shell with a hat on underneath and it works great

Without liner just throw a hat on put, on ur goggles and then put ur helmet on
