so I have narrowed it down to 2 pairs of goggles, which is better the smith i/ox goggles or the oakley canopy goggles?

They're completely different goggles, do you want a frameless goggle with quick lens interchangeability or do you want a framed goggle with a slightly wider face fit?

Have you tried on either pair? They're both good quality goggles so you can't really go wrong with either

why not the airbrake instead of the canopy if you are looking for something comparable to the i/ox. next step is to determine which lens will work best. id go with the blackout or something iridium polarized.

get the canopies, trust me.I've had a few issues with the IOX that oakley goggles don't present. fogging, lens fit, etc.
