Can anyone please tell me the difference between the I/O and the I/OS.... I currently own a pair of I/O googles and I absolutely love them, they are amazing. I am just wondering if there is a big difference in fit or quality of the googles? Thanks for helpful answers.

i think the i/osfit smaller and arent as tall because they are made for a womans face. besides that i think they are the same

Everyone's right so far, http://www.smithoptics.com/products/#/Goggles/Snow+Goggles/Snow+Goggles+Evolve/ look at the difference in size, the I/Os were manufactured due to the complaint that the original I/O was too big for a lot of faces. If you read the description it says "The fluid lines and revolutionary outrigger locking mechanism of the I/OS key off the successes of the I/O to bring rimless interchangeability to an even broader audience." So there's something new with the outrigger maybe?" Oh yeah and go read the description for the original I/O "Uncompromising in its design, the Phenom packs superior technology and maximum customization into our best fitting goggle ever." Well, that's not the phenom at all, Smith

I have the I/Os I like them a lot, they fit me better then the I/O , I guess I have a pin head. The thing that sucks is that I have found it harder to find replacement shields for them... Also be aware a lot of the bands a kind of girly, assume because I lot of the target market are women...

bump. fuckin NS search bar didn't find this thread but google did.....

Which one is a more similar fit to the phenom? i have a small head but the phenom fits me really well.

i have the I/O and i love them... go to a shop or try a friends on to tell if you want to go for the smallerios

wierd, i figured the I/OS' would be more like the Phenom since I have such a small head and can't imagine goggles getting much smaller.
