Smith Holt Question (already searched)

I'm looking for anyone's opinion on this helmet. I have a pretty large dome and would have to go for the XL. How does the sizing run? The reason I ask is because none of the shops around me sell these, so I'd have to buy it online.

I tried on a Giro Encore XL and, as far as size goes, it fit. It seemed to ride a little high on my head and had some weird pressure points as I saw someone else pointed out in the forums.

How is the sizing with the Holt? Do they run bigger that others or the same? I read it's mad comfy so hopefully it doesn't have any pressure points.

I'm just looking for opinions from you guys regarding this helmet and how the fit is.

I just bought a medium yesterday and on the box it had the metrics for all the sizes...this is all i can give u

XL 60-62cm

L 58-60cm

60-62 centimeters is what i'm lookin at, but i was also just wondering if anyone knew anything about how the actual fit was in terms of "does it sit high on the head?" or "does it have any pressure points?"

seems like most peeps seem to find it pretty comfy. any other info would be appreciated.
 
I own a large and it is super comfy no pressure points that I can feel. It does seem to sit a little high on your head but not much. I love it, I've never been big into wearing helmets but out of all the ones I have owned the Holt is by far the best.
 
I've gotta large smith holt that fits comfy. The helmet I had before was a g10mx and I heard those run a little big.
 
jah my holt is like having my head in a nest of breasts...no pressure points because of no whacky designs...just clean and smooth
 
Oh and let me add, a beanie under the smith holt caresses your head perfectly. Sooo nice, you can keep the earpads in, take the liner out and wear the beanie under or you can take the earpads and liner out and wear a beanie under and both ways work perfect. And goggles fit nice under the helmet, I don't like the way they are over.
 
the questions you are asking are so conditional on your head shape, maybe thats why your not getting the responses.

however i have a medium holt, and i used to wear a L giro nine.9. the holt fits my head better(a little more secure).
