ok heres a math problem using the distance forumla and i dont no how to do it.....

If a UFO accelerated from rest at a rate of 1000 meters per second squared, how far will it travel in 15 seconds and i cant use proportions i have to use D=.5at squared w.e that means help!!!

french is wierd too. the movie "mouse hunt" in french was called " nous reveillons pas un souris qui dors" meaning we wont wake up a mouse thats sleeping.

a=acceleration

t=time

D=.5*1000*15^2

D=56250 m

or

D=56.3 km

how bout the question

If a bronze ring is twice as heavy as a gold ring which is 3 times as heavy as a silver ring how many bronze rings would be needed to balance 12 silver rings on a scale?

i no that

bronze= 6x

gold= 3x

silver=x
