Small mountains with parks

I was reading an article somewhere about how small mountains in new jersey and similar areas stay afloat financially from the revenue generated from attracting people through parks. does anyone remember where this was and how I can find it?

It was skiing magazine. I will find it when I get home, I think it was a december issue from 02-04. It showed mountain creek and a guy on K2 enemies coming out of the pipe.

my moutain is 62 vertical meters. (180 ft) and it operates on little chinese kids in lessons, and teens going to ride park

haha ya our park thinks we need them but if they lose their park or dont change it they are going to be skrewed...cause the small mountain park next to us has 4 parks

Mountain Creek has a sick park. From what I've heard, you can probably take the best rider at your hill, and most of the kids at Creek will kick his ass at riding. There's soooo many good kids there. It's known for it's park, 3rd best on the East Coast I believe. It's also known because of Grenade having it's roots there (Danny Kass, Dave Schiff, Kyle Clancy, Sketchy D)

its 100% correct tho..lack of verticle drop and trails and ski lfits..ect...means kids get board and need something else to do...aka parkkk..free skiing ...its gotten so big in the last 5 years

here in indiana we wouldnt loose many skier visits if there wasnt a park, most poeple ski here becuase they are from tennesse and have never seen snow before

its true, here in CO we have all these rather large mountains, but when comparing the parks here to those anywhere else, they are truely lacking.

parks aren't needed on the westside for fun .

That actually sucks for EC. I am glad I didn't stay there.

Don't get me wrong: Parks + EC = excellent
