SLVSH

I thought John's flat 5 to switch 2 to other way flat 5 line was dope so I was a little disappointed in the reffing when Rals clearly didn't do a switch 2 (7:20) into the tranny

I had to process the spliff to op mute for a minute haha. I really enjoyed that game. Both threw down bangers

If bdog did slvsh how well do you guys think he’d do? He often does really creative tricks like ufo’s and stuff, and is really good at stuffing as much complexity into one feature as possible.

I guess this applies to Andy Parry as well since he often does stuff like “blindsouls” that we never see other skiers do.

THANK YOU!! I thought that was some swerve-boi bullshit

I think that in a peanut butter you pop and your skis leave the ground at about 180. In a nollie your skis can leave the ground at any point in your rotation.

can someone explain the difference between a peanut butter 5 & a nollie 5?

Peanut butter= more swivel on the tips, skis are vertical for longer. Charles Gagnier did peanut butter 3s like 15 years ago when we just called it a butter.

nollie= pop off the tips and spin in the air.

This is the right answer here, but I still think the existence of peanut butters is debatable. Unless their tips aggressively dig into the snow on takeoff it's just a nollie with a little more sauce IMO. I'm a huge Bunch fan but you don't have to blindly listen to everything they say lol

Yeah I agree, I think that a peanut butter is specific a type of nollie

Pretty solid example of a peanut butter

Will we ever see a Candide vs. Tanner, Tanner vs. Henrik, or some other "battle of the gods"

I still want an OG Jonny Moseley vs Glenn Plake.

If Warren Miller was still alive he would be a dope judge although the assholes at WME thought they owned the guy and would sue SLVSH over it.

Can someone explain to me why skimanguy can sw dub 10 no worries but forwards dub 10 was tricky?

If I recall, a lot of skiers find forward dub 10 to be harder than sw dub 9,10 and forward 12

Interesting thanks man, wonder why that is, kind of hard for me to get my head round that when my best trick is a 5 haha.

most people who can dub do a dub ten like cork 7 -> cork/flippy 3. u have to change how tucked you are in midair, but in a sw dub 10 it's just 5 -> 5. or 5 -> 3 for a dub 9. that's why Henrik scored so high on his dub 16 at x games, you can really see how he has to change his tuck between the first 7 and the second 9

5 to 5's are my favorite dub cork 10s they look so sick

Really stoked for tomorrow’s game. Thanks SLVSH

Might be an unpopular opinion but I firmly believe Kim had the grab on the 9 lead mute. Wasn't nearly as solid as Parker's but it was there. Great game nonetheless. I liked how some tricks were totally on point, some were loose and there were some stacks. Great progression from mellow to beast mode through the game too.
