SLVSH

Wild that Hunter is a pipe skier, yet A-Hall still swept him on mostly pipe hits...

Not sure I'd really give hunter the advantage for being a pipe skier on that feature, I feel like the skill behind pipe skiing is landing back in the pipe, ya know?

omg joss flipped everyone off! what a jock you can tell from the weird vibes he only cares about winning

LOL if only we could see the deleted footage of A-Hall acting like a jackass......

Haha I flipped the gimbal off. It turned off right as Ahall dropped in. And not to Brag. but I still got the whole line with the camera slowly rotating backwards and down ;)

He looks pissed. If A Hall and henriks skis ever go missing, look in this guys basement.

Maybe I should not say this, I hope he dosen't get mad at me, but I'm gonna' tell you that Hunter suffers with Dyslexia. I think he was having a hard time understanding the calls from Dollo. I don't think he was pissed, he was just a bit miffed. Then going up against someone I'm sure he looked up to as a ski king......must have been nerve rattling.

Anyway, he's not been skiing at a high level as long as Henrick so I still must give him huge cred just to go up against him. After all Henrick is like the Boss and Hunter is still workin' the office. Give him some more time and who knows what we will see from him. He's a great kid. I first noticed him when he was about 10 years old or so. I could tell then he was very determined and had the nerves of steel.

Like a regular Spielberger out there.

This cup was so fun to watch. Props to Walker and Joss and all their crew. Even more props to the competitors.

The level of skiing these days is insane. It’s great to see so many ‘young’ guys with huge bags of tricks, lots of style, creativity, and balls the size of a hippity-hop. I can’t believe some of the crazy tricks set, that were just laced on D.

so much fun

That was a crazy game, so glad that Woodsy was reffing, felt bad that Quinn lost on the questionable call though, I think he would have had a pretty good shot at winning had the game went on

True, but Woodsy definitely fucked up the call on Henrik's back 3 swap safety. Quinn did not get that grab. Still, if I was reffing, no way in hell would I have given that last line to Henrik.

Damn, I had heard the last call came down to a really questionable b4, but that was sooo sketchy. Stoked to see Henrik take the W, but I would have liked it to have ended on a more worthy last set. It would have been interesting to see how the game would have ended if Quan had been given the set back after that call.

This was a great cup. Big up to all the riders, everyone threw down so damn hard.

It was really fun to come into this thread after each game and drop some opinions and see what everyone else is thinking. Kinda reminded me of golden era NS when SG was poppin... thanks everyone!

I think nobody wanted the game to end like that, or even end for that matter because Quinn is a fcking G and seeing them both throw down was sick! I don't think woodsy wanted either of them to lose and probably did the best judging anyone could've done.

truth ^ this is the most I've seen NS members invested in anything in recent years, it's awesome

Honestly half the fun of the cup is watching it with others, reading this thread, and seeing different opinions...it really is kind of like a march madness or some other equivalent....this thread definitely reminds me of when NS was popping.

SLVSH is the best thing to happen to park skiing in recent years...I think it really emphasizes why we all love this aspect of skiing, pushing yourself with you homies...nothing better

Henrik backing off trying not to get champagne on his jersey at the end lmao

Remember that Woodsy also let Henrik slide on Henriks 8 even though he landed more 50-50 and shuffled the back big time. They both played a great game and Henrik may be one of the nicest opponents to ever play slvsh, but it frustrates me that it seems like he got away with more than Quinn. Which further frustrates me because everybody seemingly had the attitude that Henrik is untouchable and Quinn never really had a chance, which is bullshit, Quinn was matching him for most of the game, he even got two revenge letters.

So much fun to watch this whole cup. Can't imagine being in Woodsy's shoes for that last game, I think he did great.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one that was glad to see Woodsy be the ref for that last game. He's the best SLVSH ref out

sheesh big props to quinn and henrik, thats was insane to watch. thank you slvsh, the cup made me completely unproductive the last couple weeks but it was well worth it
