SLVSH

Hey slvsh I dont know if youre reading this but I love your vids and even though they dont reel in hundreds of thousands of views they still give me hours of enjoyment. My one beef though is when a skier calls 4 or 5 tricks in a row, i think 2 or 3 tricks in a row should be the maximum.

Just my two cents, keep up the good work.

Lol what are you smoking?

What so unrealistic about that? The internet is the new TV and people pay $120/mo for premium tv subscriptions... people pay 10/mo for netflix... its a completely realistic thing that could start happening everywhere on the internet.

I get your point but disagree where you're blindly relating the general public's spending habits to that of the freestyle skiing industry.

Maybe I'm naive but I can't see anyone paying $10/mo for slvsh. I base this opinion mainly on the target market for slvsh being park skiers (typically young and broke) who cant justify the cost. But also you have to understand that realistically slvsh puts out four ~10min games a month, equating to 40 minutes of content a month. That's like paying $10 for a single episode of a show on netflix. People pay $10/mo for netflix because it has an immense amount more content (and of a much wider variety) than what slvsh has to offer.

arguing the price isn't the point. Yea $10/mo is probably a lot for the content they put out per month but the point eheath is trying to make is that the SLVSH guys are doing this for free for us. While every game isn't going to be the most insane skiing, they are giving us some of the best content consistently out there right now and we should be super hyped over that. Plus they are creating jobs in the industry and giving skiers that most of us may not have heard of a chance to show off their skills with in some episodes and in SLAPP.

And I started my comment by saying I understand that point. I'm a huge fan of slvsh and what they are doing for the industry. My comment was in reply to the subscription model that eheath suggested was realistic.

felt so sorry at elias at the end, the choice between bottling it on video or trying twice to do a trick which has high % chance of a season ending injury haha

What happened to triva crack rules?

Tim already had a letter on Ethan, so the rule wouldn't apply.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it only if you start the game with 3 letters in a row that the trivia crack rule applies?

I think it just depends on the game, I remember some refs have called trivia crack as any 3-letter streak while some only call it as a 3-letter streak on the first person's turn.

Im not %100 sure, but I think I remember a game where both players passed the set because of trivia crack, meaning triva crack still applies even if you have letters.

Hard to say, as well as it doesn't much matter.

if a trivia crack switch happens at 3-0, then the score gets to 3-3 without the set changing hands, it switches back by trivia crack rules again

There goes my bracket

Today's game is actually from Momentum and not part of the upcoming cup.

Brackets close & skiing starts at SLVSH Cup Grandvalira tomorrow, with the first game dropping March 20th. We're working with Twig to try and bring you guys a preview article over the weekend with some photos of the park and a list of which games will be dropping that week.

The riders are all arriving today so make sure to follow them on Instagram for a little BTS action in the meantime.
